Privacy Policy

Accounts are held by an adult parent or guardian. Children do not create accounts and do not sign in. Details added about a child are added by their parent.

• Parent email address and display name.
• Child story name, age range, interests and personality traits chosen by the parent.
• An optional photograph, used only to create a cartoon hero drawing.
• Generated stories, illustrations and the story memory that keeps them consistent.
• Story Credit balance and purchase history.
• Anonymous product usage events (for example "a story was started"), with no names or story text.

Photographs are stored in private storage. They are never public, never appear inside a story, and can only be viewed through a short-lived link issued to the signed-in parent who uploaded them. A photo is used once, to produce an original cartoon character, and is not used to train any model.

Stories and illustrations are produced by third-party AI models accessed from our servers. Requests contain only what is needed to write the story — the child's chosen story name, age range, interests and the story so far. Photographs are sent only when a parent asks for a cartoon hero to be created from one.

Card payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store card numbers. We store only a record that a credit pack was purchased.

A parent can delete a child profile from Settings, which removes that child's profile, photograph, hero image and stories. Deleting your account removes your family's data. Contact support if you would like this done for you.
