How Story Universe works
Everything is designed so you can sit beside your child and enjoy it together.
1. Create their hero
Tell us their story name, age, what they love and what makes them them. Upload one clear photo and we create an original cartoon storybook character. The photo is stored privately and never appears in the story.
2. Choose where the adventure begins
Pick a magical kingdom, the edge of space, a dinosaur island, hidden treasure — or describe your own idea in your own words.
3. Read the free opening adventure
Six to eight illustrated pages: your child is recognised as the hero, something unusual happens, the adventure escalates, and it ends on a cliffhanger they get to decide.
4. Decide what happens next
Younger children tap a picture choice. Older children can write their own idea. Every decision is remembered.
5. Continue whenever you're ready
New chapters use a Story Credit because new writing and illustrations are generated. Everything already created stays free to re-read, forever.
6. Build a universe, then a bookshelf
Characters, places, treasured objects and unsolved mysteries carry across adventures. Finished adventures become numbered books in their collection.
