How AI is used

Google AI models, accessed through Lovable's AI service, help plan each chapter, write it for the selected age band, check it for safety and tone, and draw illustrations in Story Universe's original storybook style.

Characters, places, objects and unfinished promises from earlier chapters are stored so the story stays consistent as it grows. That memory belongs to your family and is not shared.

A generation request can include the child's parent-chosen story name, age band, interests, personality traits, hero description and relevant story history. Only information needed for the requested story or picture is sent. Story Universe does not knowingly permit submitted names, story text or legacy photographs to be used to train external models. Generated stories are imaginative fiction, not factual or educational material. Illustrations are original artwork in our own style; they are not copies of any existing film, programme or studio, and the drawn hero is an interpretation rather than a portrait.

AI sometimes gets things wrong. If a chapter or picture does not come out right, tell us — and if a paid generation cannot be completed, your credit is returned automatically.

Safety checks reduce risk but cannot guarantee that every generated detail will be perfect. A parent or guardian should supervise use and decide whether each story is suitable for their child. To report a concern, email hello@herotales.org.
